Welcome to www.irn-man.com my brand new blog! It is a work in progress, in look and very much in content. The name will probably change and everything else as things devlope. 24hrs and I’m using itteration, a technique favoured by lazy scientists to design a banner. I’m inspired to blog by Nikola Tosic and @triteamorg . He has given me some exelent advice to be honest, direct, spontaneous and avoid talking about training.
It a crazy time for me finishing a succesfull tri season and starting to move in new directions with my research in the lab. A lot will be decided in the next 6 months as to which path I’m going to follow from there. A couple of weeks ago I got a 4th place at Challenge Barcelona and since then have been kicking back, partying a bit a lying in.The only training being on my drinking ability which has almost returned to undergraduate levels. Some of the guys found in reasuring to see the PROs knocking a few back at the end of the season, thanks to Mark McGirven for this shot of the after party.
So I’m looking to step up again next year, be more professional in my apporach be more organised with my sponsors and try and work out a way to get to Kona, because that’s what we do. Jen has set her sights of Clearwater CA and has signed up with JD so We are all keen to see what she does aswell.
